George Burns and his wife, Gracie Allen were an extremely successful comedy team. For over forty years they entertained audiences in vaudeville, film, radio and television. On The Burns and Allen Show, George and Gracie sing, dance, tell jokes and act out scripts on a set designed to look like their real-life home. The show was an immediate success and had a long network run. In 1988, George Burns and Gracie were inducted into the Television Hall of Fame.
