Edward Stratton owns a toy company and is essentially an overgrown child living in a mansion full of toys, arcade games and a train that runs right through the living room. Edward didn’t know he was a father until his young son Ricky, from a previous marriage, shows up at his home, ready to move in. As these two get to know each other, Edward works on being more mature while Ricky leans to lighten up and have more fun while he’s still young.
